A Workshop on Bullying Prevention in Schools


Be prepared to address the needs of your students and comply with state laws regarding bully prevention with this information-packed, one-day workshop! No Bullying Now brings you evidence-based strategies for elementary and middle or junior high schools. Topics will include:

• Empowering bystanders
• Solution-focused approach to bullying
• Establishing a support team for bullying prevention

Bully Busters: A Teacher’s Manual for Helping Bullies, Bystanders, and Victims, developed by Dr. Arthur Horne, et al., at the University of Georgia is a major take-away from this workshop.

Evidence-based --- Bully Busters is effective in increasing teacher competence and significantly reducing office referrals for bullying. (Journal of Counseling and Development, Volume 82, Number 3, Summer 2004)

Includes the Bully Busters manual and one set of handouts for each per participant.
3 CRUs or 6 CEUs* available

*The Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board has approved this organization to provide Category I Continuing Education for LSW, LCSW, LMFT and LMHC. However, licensees must judge the program’s relevance to their professional practice.
