Children and teens often experience specific issues that can best be addressed through the support and understanding found in groups, led by a skilled and caring counselor. Based on clients' needs, Carlabeth Mathias offers counseling groups in the following areas:
Social Skills • Attention Deficit Disorder
Grief and Loss • Anger Issues • Divorce/Blended Families
Social Group for Boys - Grades 1-3
Mondays at 5:00-5:50 p.m.
January 9 and 23
February 6 and 27
March 12 and 26
Help your son build his friendship and social skills through fun, age-appropriate experiences and activities. They are designed to foster positive peer interaction, build self-confidence, and provide support and skill development. Commitment for all 6 sessions is necessary. $210 for all six sessions.

Social Group for Girls - Grades 6-8
Please contact us if you are interested in this group.
This group is designed especially for girls in grades 6-8 who want to strengthen their social skills, develop healthier relationships or become more confident in social situations. The group will focus on skill-building and increasing self-confidence. In a safe, friendly environment, the girls will be engaged in enjoyable activities to help increase skills in conversation, joining a group, reading social cues, choosing friends, and handling peer conflict or bullying. Girls in grades 6-8.
