Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, July 27, 29, and 31 at 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Children will learn specific strategies to help them manage and control attention and focus challenges. Each session uses a chapter from a children’s book, engaging group activities, and materials to use at home to teach skills such as learning to stop and think, identifying feelings, evaluating consequences of actions, problem-solving and using positive self-talk. Grades 1-4. $120

Yes, I Can Be Organized!
Thursday, August 6 at 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Juggling the increasing demands of schoolwork and extracurricular activities can be frustrating and challenging to children and their parents alike.  Children will learn organizational strategies to help with this transition in responsibility and build their self-confidence as well.  Grades 5-7.  $70

As children progress to the upper elementary and intermediate grades, they are expected to handle more difficult material and perform more independently. Many students need help in developing the study skills needed to achieve these tasks. Children will learn organizational, note-taking, and test preparation strategies designed for school success. Grades 4-6. $120

Yes, I Can Tackle That Test!

If you are interested in this class, please contact us. We will work with interested families to establish a day and time that works for all concerned.

Chapter tests, mid-terms, finals, and ISTEP. . .learning to tackle tests is an important skill. Students will learn tips for success on objective tests, hints for writing essays, ways to develop a test-taking strategy, and ideas to handle test anxiety. Grades 4-8. $50
